No Mat Vs Window Cut Mat

Two Styles of Framing:
On the left we have framed up to the edge of the print.
On the right, we have put a window cut mat (border) around the image

Float and raise

This is where we float your artwork using archival techniques so it appears the artwork is hovering above it's mat board. We then do a 'spaced fit' so the glass and artwork do not come into contact.

White Mat and Frame

Tray Frame

An example of a Canvas floated in a Tray Frame.
There is typically a 5mm 'gutter' (gap) between the canvas and frame.

Canvas which requires stretching on left, and stretched canvas on right.

Artmount Thickness

We offer two thicknesses for Artmount: 20mm and 40mm.
For large works over 1m wide we recommend the 40mm thickness to avoid bowing.
The edge colour itself is up to you! We offer Black, White, Charcoal and a limited range of other colours. Ask to see samples in store!
