FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s your turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround time is 2 weeks (For Framing or Artmount.)
However, we always do our best to meet our clients’ needs. If you’re working to a tighter deadline, just let us know — we’ll assess material availability and our production schedule to see what’s possible. Rush jobs aren’t guaranteed, but we’ll always try to help where we can. (And more times than not, we can get it over the line for you!)

What glass types do you offer?
We offer a curated range of glazing options to suit different needs, from everyday protection to museum-grade conservation:
• Standard Clear Glass – A classic choice for general use, with a slight reflective finish.
• AR70 Glass – Reduces reflection and blocks up to 70% of harmful UV rays to help protect your artwork from fading.
• UV99 Conservation Glass – Offers 99% UV protection— ideal for preserving valuable or sentimental pieces.
• Museum Glass® – Our premium option: 99% UV protection and virtually invisible clarity with anti-reflective coating. It’s the gold standard for showcasing fine art and taonga.
We’re always happy to guide you through the best option for your artwork, lighting conditions, and budget.

What hangers do you put on the back of my frame?
For small to medium frames, we typically use string (cord) hangers attached to D-rings. This setup is secure, easy to level, and works well with standard picture hooks.
For larger or heavier pieces, we use D-rings facing upward without string. This reduces strain on the frame and avoids the risk of string tension snapping over time.
Every frame comes with picture hooks, so it’s ready for your wall.
We don’t use adhesive hangers like 3M Command strips — they’re not reliable for long-term or valuable artwork. Our team has tested and agreed that D-rings and string offer the safest and most professional solution.

I don’t know what size to print my photo at for my wall.
We’ve got a great hack for that! Try using newspaper, wrapping paper, or any large scrap paper and builders’ tape to mock up a layout directly on your wall. This helps you visualise the frame size in context — and saves you from guesswork.
Once you’ve found a size that feels right, we can work backwards from the outer dimensions to calculate a proportional print size for your photo. From here we can quote options up for you and arrange photographic printing for you.

Do you deliver artwork, or offer a hanging service?
We don’t currently have the capacity to offer delivery or installation ourselves. However, we work closely with a number of experienced art couriers and professional installers — and we’d be more than happy to recommend someone trusted. Just ask us!
Whether it’s a delicate taonga, a large-scale piece you can’t fit in your vehicle, we’ll point you toward the right people to get it safely and beautifully onto your wall.

Do you offer printing services?
We don’t print in-house, but we work with a number of skilled off-site printers — from fine art specialists to affordable poster printers.
Once we understand your needs, we’ll help select the right service and arrange everything for you. Whether it’s a museum-quality or a cheap & cheerful poster print, we’ll make sure it’s done well.
Turnaround time for printing is usually around 5 working days.
