Kristine Keir's paintings can be seen as fragmented landscapes, painted to abstraction as if from memory. Keir reduces objects to simple flat forms, combining naive, minimalist and abstract influences. Bright planes of colour are employed in her most recent work, as organic forms are accumulated through the compositions.
